OIL&GAS CLUB - RECRUITMENT - THE GOLDEN CORE TEAM

         

  I.     Introducing OGC

Oil and Gas club (OGC) is the professional club at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology established on October 15th 2010. Under the sponsorship of the faculty of Oil and Gas OGC has been the promising environment for the students in the campus as well as for those coming from other Universities in Hanoi to participate in and to hone their English skills and knowledge in Oil and Gas industry. Also the OGC provides students the chance to improve their soft skills such as oral presentation, and communication as well as leadership and other important skills as the students need through many social activities. What’s more? OGC is the concrete bridge connecting different generations of students who could provide invaluable advice about work experience and other information relevant to Oil and Gas field.

II.                  The Golden Core Team Recruitment

This team will be in charge of most of activities of OGC. In this recruitment we look for candidates in 3 different segments. (you can find the detail in our booklet listed at the end)

 1. Major group

For the activities of major group we look for your participation in organizing, announcing events and even being a MC or presenter.

2. English group

For the activities of English group, basically you will be in charge of holding the topic including writing the topic plan and being the MC. You have to work together with other members in The Golden Core Team, the works and tasks will be shared equally for all.

3. PR and communications

For other social activities you will have chances to improve your social skills because you will know how to operate the event with your team and other skills like raising funds, negotiating with different people in different organizations and dealing with some difficult and unexpected situations as you are running projects.

4. Benefits

Become a member of The Golden Core Team you have opportunities to:

-          Experience and work in a professional environment

-          Improve your English and soft skills

-          Be acknowledged as a core member of Oil and Gas club, you will receive all the interests as the membership status such as: being provided Membership card; joining all activities of the club; borrowing books from the library of the faculty of Oil and Gas; receiving support from other members.

-          Get a certificate if you can contribute fairly well to the club

-          Join the management board member of the club.

-          Receive invaluable advice for your future career from former members and even experts.

III.             Requirements

1. Candidates applying for position in major group are required having a good background in oil and gas field.
2. Good at spoken and written English which need to be shown in your CV and in the interview with us (especially important for those who apply for English and PR segment).
3. Good at IT is advantage.
4. High enthusiasm and be able to work effectively in group as well as independently.
5. Working time requirement is 1 semester.

TỔNG KẾT CHƯƠNG TRÌNH SUPERSTAR

Như vậy là chương trình “Superstar” đã đi cùng chúng ta một chặng đường, tuy không dài nhưng cũng giúp chúng ta nhìn lại bản thân cũng như toàn thể câu lạc bộ. Sau đây là một số tổng kết về chương trình “ Superstar”

I.Những điều English Group đạt được

1. Nhìn chung, chương trình “Superstars” được đánh giá cao. Hầu hết tất cả anh em đều hưởng ứng nhiệt tình. Chương trình diễn ra đúng tiến độ, mọi người đều đưa ra những chủ đề hết sức thú vị và có ý nghĩa. Để lấy ví dụ, ta có thể đưa ra một số gương mặt tiêu biểu như:

·         Hồ Viết Thành – chương trình tiên tiến khóa I đã đưa ra chủ đề “Slang”

·         Nguyễn Thanh  Tùng – Lớp Địa Vật Lý K53 mang đến cho anh em chủ đề về “Mindmap”  - 1 chủ đề thiết thực  có tính ứng dụng cao trong đời sống. Đồng thời, chủ đề “Mindmap” cũng đã để lại một ấn tượng đẹp với 1 buổi debate rất sôi nổi. Mọi người đều tích cực đưa ra ý kiến của mình.

Ngoài ra, còn nhiều chủ đề khác mà anh em mang tới như:

·         Chủ đề “Body language” của Mr Hiệp

·         Chủ đề “Money” của Ms Liên

·         Chủ đề “ Love” của Ms Chi

·         Chủ đề “Pollution” của Ms Phương

·         Chủ đề ‘kinds of music’ của MrTùng (nhái).

Mỗi chủ đề đều có những đóng góp riêng góp phần vào thành công của series chương trình “ Superstar”.

2. Một điều rất quan trọng mà anh em đạt được là có những chuyển biến trong việc trau dồi kĩ năng “Speaking” cụ thể là kĩ năng sử dụng từ vựng, độ trôi chảy, phát âm…. Mọi người đã có những bình luận, khen chê khách quan giúp anh em cùng nhau tiến bộ. Một số người có kĩ năng tiếng anh tốt như  Mr Tiến, Mr Quang,  Mr Hiếu,  Mr Chu Văn Thịnh, Mr Hồ Viết Thành,  Mr Nguyễn Thanh Tùng….

3. Phần lớn mọi người đã mạnh dạn hơn trong việc sự dụng Tiếng Anh giao tiếp. Sự ngần ngại trong việc nói tiếng anh giao tiếp thời gian đầu đã được khắc phục.

4.Bài thuyết trình được đánh giá từ nhiều góc độ, nhiều người nên người thuyết trình hiểu được những chỗ mình cần khắc phục.

Trên đây là những điều mà anh em đã đạt được trong series chương trình “Superstar” năm 2011. Hi vọng trong thời gian tới đây, anh em sẽ đạt được nhiều chuyển biến hơn nữa để “Superstar” góp phần tích cực trong việc hoàn thiện các kĩ năng giao tiếp.

II.Những hạn chế cần được khắc phục

            Như mọi người đã biết, “Superstar” là một chương trình rất hay. Nếu mỗi người tập trung hơn vào nhiệm vụ của mình, em tin là sẽ đạt được nhiều kết quả cao hơn nữa. Tuy nhiên, trong thực tế còn tồn tại một số thực tế sau:

1. Hạn chế thứ nhất cũng là hạn chế nổi trội mọi người chưa có sự đầu tư thời gian vào bài thuyết trình của mình. Do đó dẫn đến phát âm còn nhiều chỗ sai sót, chỗ vấp váp còn nhiều, độ trôi chảy còn kém, từ vựng nhiều chỗ sử dụng chưa chuẩn, cấu trúc câu được sử dụng còn nghèo nàn….

2. Một số bạn còn e dè trong việc sử dụng tiếng anh và thuyết trình trước đám đông. Một số bạn khác nữa còn hơi trầm trong việc đưa ra những bình luận, những nhận xét.

3. Về phía ban tổ chức làm việc còn lộn xộn, chưa quy củ.

III.Biện pháp khắc phục

·         Sắp xếp thời gian để chuyên tâm vào luyện tiếng anh, cũng như chuẩn bị thật tốt trước khi đến sinh hoạt tại câu lạc bộ.

·         Phía ban tổ chức chú ý post event đúng lịch, vào thứ 3 hàng tuần. Phần này do a Tiến phụ trách.

·         Học hỏi nhau nhiều hơn. Mọi người sửa lỗi sai, chia sẻ cái hay cái mới, giúp đỡ nhau tiến bộ.

·         Học hỏi, nâng cao kĩ năng thuyết trình.

Trên đây là bảng tổng kết chương trình “Superstar”. Hi vọng trong thời gian tới anh em sẽ cùng nhau khắc phục những hạn chế và phát huy những gì đã đạt được trong thời gian vừa qua.

Throughout the ages, human-beings has tried to create beauty through paiting, music, sculpture and other artistic expression. It seems to be a basic need of humans to surround themselves with art. Thanks to these masterpieces, not only can we learn more about the culture of all countries being far from your region , it also helps you satisfy your own fulfillment in art. Therefore, there is no doubt the importance of art in humans’ life

But, however, it can be wrong for governments to spend large sums of money on art. Too often, governments spend unwisely. They spend money on art not because a picture is good or a museum is needed, but for political reasons. Another point is that the artworks are often chosen to represent social or political rather than artistic ideas. The city gets yet another statue of the leader or an ugly monument to national aspirations. Let’s take a closer look at this matter    

1        First of all, we all are going to write words, phrases, or even idioms related to art on board, it is supposed that we take much time to finish in this part. Therefore, a thorough preparation need requiring before at home

2        Superstar: in my opinion, here is one of the most important parts for developing individuals’ presentation capacity. Let’s vote for them

3        Discussion

Describe an artist or entertainer you admire.

You should say:

·         Who they are and what they do

·         How they became successful

·         How you found out about them

·         And explain why you admire them

In paticular, all students following in universities probably have enhanced difficulty in paying for housing, everyday expenses and other fees.
